There is sure for something to catch your interest to partake in and maybe even learn something along with having fun with your fellow con goers!

As this is a college-run Anime convention, it is mandatory that all panelists and attendees follow through with these conduct guidelines. They are as follows:
Scheduled Times
Please be sure to allocate enough time for both the setup and closing of your Showcase. The timeslot that is allotted for your Showcase is all you will receive, so be sure that the next panelist has enough time to get set-up as well.
Misrepresentation of an Event or Guests
Panelists are not allowed to misrepresent FreeCon, any of its events, guests, and organizations associated with FreeCon.
Use of University Property, Furnishings and Equipment and Attendant Responsibility
Proper care for any furnishings and equipment within the convention is top priority. Panelists will be responsible costs incurred and the repair or replacement of any damaged property, furnishings, or equipment. Property, furnishings, and equipment are not allowed to be removed from the room. Florida State University is not responsible for any injuries or theft of personal effects that occur on the convention site.
Exchange of Money
No Showcase is allowed to have an admission fee, donations, items for sale, or an auction.
Decorations
Decorations cannot be taped, nailed, or thumb tacked to either the floors or walls. You may not attach items to the light fixtures or ceilings. Candles or any open flame, fog machines, fountains and water machines, and balloons are not allowed.
Smoking
All facilities at Florida State University are designated as non-smoking. Those who violate this policy will be asked to leave immediately.
Guest Conduct
Guests attending are expected to be respectful and courteous to other guests and staff members of the Union. Excessive noise or other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Disruptive individuals will be removed from the facility.

Panels will be held in Florida State University’s Oglesby Union rooms. As of now, we offer two panel rooms that can be run simultaneously. Depending on your expected attendance size, we have both a large and a small panel room. The large panel room can accommodate 44 seats, while the small panel room can accommodate 32 seats. Any panels with an expected attendance larger than this will be allocated to a different location.
The Oglesby Union can supply each room with one projector, one table, and chairs. Speakers and microphones will be provided by Japanese Animation Club of Tallahassee. This equipment must be specified on all panel request forms. Any additional equipment or technology you would like to bring must be approved by our staff, so please identify it in your Registration Form. Please note that all panelists and attendees must abide by the Conduct and Policies listed above when handling this technology and equipment.

For those hosting a Showcase (panel), please fill out the registration form below to request a Showcase. Thoroughly fill out every field as accurate as possible. Filling out this registration form does not guarantee a spot in the final schedule.
Although the deadline for Panel Submissions has passed, we are still going to accept panel requests until March 1st, and any cancellations past March 5th will incur a $30 surcharge.
After submitting this form, your panel will be reviewed by our staff, and if it is deemed both quality and relevant, it will be placed in our schedule. We will send you an e-mail within one business week to verify if we have accepted or denied your panel. Please note that additional contact will be made with you once your panel is accepted. If you don't hear from us after that, feel free to send an e-mail to panels.freecon@gmail.com.
