As this is a college-run Anime convention, there are several rules to keep in mind. In addition to our standard convention conduct rules, artists in the Bauhaus Art Exhibit are expected to follow by these policies. Violators will be escorted from the site, and lose their table privileges.

No Food or Music
Food is not allowed within the Exhibit room. This should be obvious: we don’t want pizza stains all over someone else’s precious artwork. Moreover, your own music is not allowed in the Exhibit. As some artists are trying to work, distracting them by blaring Nyan Cat from your Macbook may not be the best idea. The Bauhaus Art Exhibit is not a social hang-out spot.

Mature 18+ Content
As the Bauhaus Art Exhibit is open to the general public, we strongly discourage mature content being produced and sold at the Bauhaus Art Exhibit. If you do intend on selling mature content, please make sure that you have proper covers for your artwork, and be sure to check for identification to avoid selling to minors. You must notify us prior to selling mature content, and the FreeCon Art Team will review it to ensure that the artwork is tasteful and appropriate.

No Unoriginal Papercraft or Beadsprites
Please note that your artwork will be reviewed by the FreeCon Art Team. As it stands, papercraft you printed after downloading from the internet, and beadsprites copied pixel by pixel are not deemed as artwork, and will not be showcased in the exhibit. Original papercrafts and beadsprites are still welcome. This rule also applies to other mediums, such as graphic t-shirts with logos, etc.

Original and Fan Art
Although original art is encouraged, fan art is also acceptable in our Exhibit. There is no set proportion of original or fan art you must have on your table. Just remember that all of the artwork you provide must be created by your own hands. Tracing or recolors will not be considered as art.

Internet
Wifi is available all over campus for Florida State University students. If you are an artist who isn’t a student, but needs internet connection, please be sure to let the staff know ahead of time so that we can get it set up for you.

Do you want to run an exhibition in the Bauhaus Art Exhibit? Artists are invited to fill out this registration form to hold a table at our Artist Alley. This year, Artist Alley tables will be free for all. Please be sure to thoroughly fill out this registration form. After submitting your form, your artwork will be reviewed by our FreeCon Art Staff. They will be judging artistic talent, skill, creativity, and diversity. Only a select few will be eligible to hold tables in the exhibit. The FreeCon Art Staff will notify you by e-mail to confirm and approve your request within one business week.

Each artist will be granted one 6 foot wide table at the day of the event. Artists will be chosen on a first-come-first-served basis.

Currently the Artist Alley is now closed. You may continue to submit forms, but you will be put on a waitlist. Any cancellations after March 5th, 2012 will incur a $30 surcharge.

If there are any questions, feel free to contact artists.freecon@gmail.com.
